Can interfaith marriages take place in the Church?

The Church does not practice interfaith marriage. If a person becomes a member of the Church who is married to someone who is not a member, we have no right to speak of their situation except that we should pray for their conversion.

Children from an interfaith marriage may receive communion if they eventually become members of the Church.

Children from an interfaith marriage may be blessed by a priest of the Church, even if they are not members of the Church.
