Instaurare Omnia in Christo
Welcome to the website.
The Ancient Catholic Church of Jerusalem (Old Rite Latin Catholic Church) is a traditional Catholic Church under the spiritual guidance of His Beatitude, Charles, the Patriarch of Jerusalem and House of Jesus and Mary, along with Bishop Andrew and a council of priests. We celebrate the Traditional (Tridentine) Latin Mass.
The Church of Jerusalem is one of the oldest Catholic institutions in the world. The Church traces its roots back to the Apostles and the teachings of Jesus Christ as recorded in the New Testament and the Didache.
The central beliefs of the Church include the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the divinity of Jesus Christ, apostolic authority, the sacraments, and the importance of good works and a virtuous life. The Church has rich liturgical worship, devotion to the saints and the Virgin Mary, and adherence to a strict moral code.
The Church is a hierarchical organisation, with the patriarch as its leader and a structure of bishops, priests, and deacons to serve communities of the faithful wherever they may exist in the world.
